Wow!that's a Great Idea!

Ed Bernacki's new book Wow! that's a great idea! is a powerful toolkit to help any organisation to achieve three powerful results:

1.Defining where innovative thinking is needed; the opportunities and problems to focus on.
2. Generating innovative ideas by using their own idea factory.
3. Managing these innovative ideas into opportunities, actions and results.

Wow! that's a great idea! is based on the fact that many of our best ideas are already inside our companies. What's missing are the processes and strategies to harness, nurture and act on these ideas.
The book provides a step-by-step plan to shape a more innovative organisation. Its chapters include:

1. New ideas from innovative thinking.
2. How to find your ideas!
3. Where to look for million dollar ideas.
4. Putting the Idea Factory to work.
5. The Idea Factory tool kit.
6. Getting to a result.
7. It's not working very well; troubleshooting the Idea Factory
8. Building your Idea Factory: a place for innovative thinking
9. Creating your strategy for innovation
10. Give credit to the source of your growth: People

And, a complete framework for an Innovation strategy is provided in the appendix.

Ed Bernacki is a champion of new ideas. He has worked with many organisations to find new ideas that lead to powerful new strategies, services and product concepts. His unique approach and ability to explain seemingly difficult issues cause people to say, "Of course, that makes sense. I never thought of it like that before!" He believes in Albert Einstein's philosophy when he said, "You can't solve a problem with the same thinking that created it." His books and articles give people insights for new ways of thinking. He contributes to numerous publications and speaks at a wide variety of conferences and workshops in Australia, New Zealand, and the USA.

Bridge the Gap between Creativity and Results with Action!
If you need one last reason to consider the value of innovative thinking, consider the words of Rosebeth Moss Kanter, former editor of the Harvard Business Review, "The secret of innovation is that it gives you a temporary monopoly. It means that you can charge more for it."
The monopoly you create includes your ability to continually find the big ideas that count. Start now! Talking about innovation won't make it happen. Finding great ideas - not just good ideas - and acting on them creates innovation!
